U.S. Combat Mission in Iraq Will End, Biden Says

President Biden met with Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi of Iraq at the White House and said the U.S. military’s combat mission in that country will conclude by the end of the year, with the United States shifting into an advisory and supportive role.
